FAQs

How do I book?

Book through this website.

IPG Paintball accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro. You can safely enter your details via our secure server which encrypts all submitted information. However, we do not store credit card information. After your booking is successful, we will send you confirmation and a map to your chosen centre.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance to secure your desired centre and game date. All bookings are subject to availability. Your choice of centre and date may not always be available, but alternatives will always be offered.

How many players do I need to bring?

There are no minimum or maximum requirements; any group size is fine (although we may require a minimum spend for your group in order to open a centre – please enquire for specific information). You will generally be combined with other players on the day to make up a team, however you are also able to organise private games for larger groups.

Can I play on a mid-week day?

Yes, at most centres you can, provided the minimum requirement has been met to open the centre. We will notify you if the minimum spend has not been met in order to open a centre during the week. We will always strive to provide you with an available centre.

Do I have to use all my IPG Tickets at once?

You are welcome to use any number of your tickets at your convenience. You do not have to use all your tickets during the one visit, so you can play several times over the validity period of the tickets.

How can I buy more tickets?

Once you have purchased IPG Tickets, you are entitled to this VIP price forever! You can contact your re-seller to purchase more tickets; their contact details can be found on your IPG tickets. If you do not have a Membership Number because you have never purchased IPG Tickets, simply purchase the tickets online for the recommended price of €30 per ticket, or visit one of our many approved ticket re-sellers.

What is included in the cost of the IPG Ticket?

The IPG paintball tickets provide entrance for 10 players into any of the IPG-approved paintball centres in Ireland, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. The package also includes all equipment hire required for a full day of action.

Paintball equipment required for the day includes: Full face protection goggles and protective snood*, body armour*, combat suit with protective collar, commando battle pack, latest semi-automatic machine gun, unlimited gas. (Note: All IPG approved paintball centres have full Public Liability Insurance).

*Please note: we cannot guarantee body armour at local paintball centres.

What is NOT included in the cost of the IPG Ticket?

Paintballs are NOT included in the cost of the IPG Tickets; neither is food and drink. You can purchase additional items on the day of your event from the on site shop.

How much are paintballs?

Additional paintballs cost just €8.50 per 100 when you buy in bulk quantities of 1000 paintballs or €10.00 per 100 when bought in small quantities.

Paintball prices may vary from national to local paintball centres.

How many paintballs will I need?

There is no way of knowing how many paintballs any individual will use as it depends on how trigger-happy you are. It is entirely up to each person and how much they want to spend. After you pay for your first 100 paintballs to confirm your booking, you can purchase additional paintballs at the centre throughout the day during the breaks between games.

Can I buy a bulk box instead of the first 100?

It is a conditional term of the offer that players purchase the first 100 paintballs per person in advance at €15.00 per person.

I was not told about the €15.00 per person for the first 100 paintballs at the time I purchased the tickets.

All customers are required to sign the “How It Works” section on the back of the tickets. This outlines the full extent of the service that IPG will provide. The wording of the confirmation is clear and constitutes a binding contract. Just as we are bound by our service agreement, our customers are bound by their signatures on the tickets. If you do have an issue with this, please call 1800 246 188 and speak to one of our friendly consultants.

Can I pay on the day?

Unfortunately not. All centres have a set capacity and all of the equipment, catering, staffing and game plans are tailored to the number of people booked in to play.

Can I use the paintballs if a player does not turn up on the day and I have already paid for them?

Unfortunately not. If anyone fails to attend the event on the date you have booked, the prepayment and paintballs for that person will be forfeited. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. However, at most centres credits can be carried forward and used for a future visit if any players fail to attend the event.

What food and drink is available at the centre?

At most centres a freshly cooked lunch can be purchased for under €6.00 per person (this can be pre-ordered at the time of booking, depending on which centre you would like to visit). There is a snack shop onsite at most centres where you can purchase chocolates, drinks, crisps, etc.

What times can we play?

A full day session is 9:15am until approximately 4:00 – 4:30pm at national centres (arrival times vary at some of our local paintball centres).

Is paintball suitable for children?

Parents need to know about the nature of the activity and decide for themselves whether their particular child is hardy and mature enough to participate in this type of activity. To help you with this, we have compiled an “Information for Parents” guide which can be downloaded from this site. Various precautions have been taken to maximise player safety and comfort to make paintball more suitable for younger children. These precautions at national centres include full face protection goggles and padded snoods, body armour and combat suits with a protective collar.

What is the minimum age?

The minimum age at national centres is 14 years old, however the minimum age at local centres may vary. We will try to join your group up with a similar aged group, wherever possible. However, there are often groups of mixed ages (when parents like to play with their children, or there are older siblings joining in etc).

What happens on the day?

On arrival you will be greeted by our friendly staff who will welcome you to the centre and help you fill out registration forms. After registration, you will be kitted up with all the necessary equipment and undergo a short safety briefing. Then the action starts – you will play 10-12 games during a full day session, with short breaks in between to reload your paintballs and discuss tactics! There are covered and uncovered picnic tables available, and all centres have flushing WC facilities. We stop for a short lunch break half way through the day, and you can expect to leave the site by 4:00 – 4:30pm.

Do I need to fill out a registration form?

All players are required to complete a registration form before they begin play at national centres. Players under 16 years must have a Parental Consent Form signed by a parent or guardian. We suggest you send these out with your invitations. The other parents should return their completed registration forms for you to bring to the paintball centre on the day of your event.

Players also have the option to complete forms on arrival at national and local paintball centre.

What do I need to bring on the day?

Players should wear old, comfortable clothing and may also want to bring a change of clothes. The recommended footwear is boots with ankle support and deep tread/rubber soles – it can be muddy, wet and slippery in the woodlands. Gloves are available to buy at national centres for €7.99 each, or you can bring your own. You may also want to bring some money for purchasing additional paintballs and food throughout the day (we accept cash and credit/debit cards verified by PIN only).

Can I bring my own paintball equipment?

You can bring your own equipment to the centre, but it is always at the discretion of the centre manager whether you can use it. You can bring your own goggles, provided they are designed for paintball games and have not been modified in any way. You cannot bring your own gun or gas cylinders on site for any reason.

Can I bring my own paintballs?

Just as you can't take your own alcohol to a pub, you cannot bring your own paintballs to the centre. You can only use paintballs issued by the paintball centre on the day of your event.

Can we bring alcohol to the centre?

No alcohol is permitted on site. Any players who have been drinking will be excluded from the games and asked to leave the centre.

What happens if it rains?

The games go ahead regardless in all weather conditions. All our game zones are outdoors, but there are sheltered areas in the base camp where you can rest between games. In wet weather players may like to wear a thin waterproof layer of clothing under the combat suit issued to you for the day.

My IPG Tickets have expired or are about to expire. Can I still use them?

Please contact IPG via the Contact Us page on our website to discuss your options.

The centre I want to play at has closed or not opened yet.

Paintball centre locations are subject to change for reasons beyond our control, and the location map is for guidance only. Alternative venues will always be offered, and IPG undertakes to maintain a minimum of 10 such venues within Ireland and the UK.

My under-age child purchased the tickets and I do not want him/her to have them. What can I do?

IPG Tickets can lawfully be purchased by persons of any age – there is no need for an adult to be present. Unwanted tickets can be sold to third parties or given away as gifts.

Are the IPG Tickets refundable?

All IPG IPG Tickets come with a 7 day satisfaction guarantee. If you wish to change your mind about the purchase of these tickets you may, at any time within 7 days of purchase, return these tickets and all other tickets/vouchers in their entirety to 57 Broadway Court, Wimbledon, London, SW19 1RG (please affix the correct postage in order for your request to reach us on time). Please include a covering letter notifying us of your wish to cancel the tickets and receive a refund. Refund requests must be received in writing via post within 7 days of the date of purchase. Refunds are processed and made by IPG on behalf of your independent IPG reseller. Refunds attract an admin fee and may take up to 21 working days to process. Please note that in the absence of misrepresentation, once this refund period has passed, the terms and conditions of the ticket will become binding and it will not be possible to refund you the cost of your tickets. Please note that we reserve the right to send back items that have been returned to us after the 7 day period.

How do I contact IPG with further questions?

Complete the enquiry form on the Contact Us page. One of our friendly staff will contact you with answers to your questions. Alternatively, you can call IPG directly on 1800 246 188.

What sort of footwear is best?

We strongly recommend boots with ankle support and deep tread/rubber soles – it can be muddy, wet and slippery in the woodlands.
